This site lies within the Central province of Zambia in Chisamba. The site covers an estimated 200Ha and is wholly owned by One Belt Mining Limited.
The location is popular by its name as Lufwanyama district copper belt province over 400 HA propert own by One Belt Mining Limited.
Mkushi district in Central province riches with Gold, Copper,Manganese, Cobalt,Tourmaline, Quartz etc and wholly owned by One belt Mining Limited with area of 600 HA.
Mumbwa & Solwezi mines stretched with the area of 200 and 500 HA fully owned and registered under One Belt Mining Limited.
Cobalt: Large cobalt horizons have been mapped in the Chisamba formation. Mwomboshi mine (an old high grade iron mine lies within the prospect). Two samples were collected and sent for analysis and averaged 91.19% iron with less than 5% silica.
Gold: Quartz carbonate veins pregnant with gold have been mapped within the Chisamba schist, averaging 8.8g/t over an average width of 7cm.
Copper: Several occurrences have been mapped in the region mostly hosted in the Katanga formations. Within the licence the potential for copper is low the area is hosted in granitic gneissic complex of Kundelungu age, a non typical geological setting for copper mineralisation in Zambia.
Graphite: Fine grained Chisamba sericite schist contains appreciable amount of graphite.
Various minerals deposits have a potential open-pit standalone project. Mineralization extends over ~ 2km and remains open with near mine satellite prospect and we have Predefined Copper-Gold-Silver mineralization with high-grade gold overprint over 11km mine corridors. Our Licenses covering 50km of the 55km belt and hosts two previous selective high grade underground mines.
One Belt Minings focused on advancing its past-producing Copper Mine Complex in the 4 major regions in Zambia districts. The company recently announced its robust Maiden Resource Estimate with 81.7M tonnes @ 0.88% CuEq of pit-constrained Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources and 21.3M tonnes @ 0.73% CuEq of Inferred Mineral Resources.
Given One Belt Mining Copper and Gold’s geologic model and knowledge of existing mineralization, the company sees ample room to grow this Mineral Resource with further exploration and definition drilling. There are few comparable copper-gold deposits that offer this combination of substantial size, robust grades, and excellent on-site infrastructure all located in adjacent districts in Zambia.
